Halo Arms Announces HA 308 FTR Release

We just received word that the new HA 308 FTR from Halo Arms is due to be released at the end of May. Below is the Halo Arms press release regarding the product launch:


The HA 308 FTR first production build is scheduled for completion by the end of May. The initial offering of rifles is limited and will be slated at $1,349.00 which includes shipping to a FFL.

We have spent a lot of time evolving the design and have settled on an optimized production rifle which incorporates features we determined superior to the mark I prototype. The rifles will be sold with the following base features:

Caliber .308 Win / 7.62.

Weight of 11.5 lbs, without scope and mounts.

5 shot action with internal magazine with screw removable floor plate.

90 degree bolt throw with Remington type 3 position safety.

RT hand bolt and eject port.

Standard black finish

24" heavy contour, chrome molly barrel with 1:12 twist.

Adjustable length of pull.

Adjustable cheek rest.

Free float tube with Picatinny rail attachment points on top, sides and bottom of the free float tube along the entire length of the tube. Vent holes located between the Picatinny rail points every 90 degrees.

One free Picatinny rail accessory for mounting your bipod. (Bipod and mount not included)

Extended one piece Picatinny optics rail, provides added length for eye relief.

Hand tuned trigger to approximately 2.75 – 3.0 lbs pull.

Trigger face to front of grip is 1.240" providing proper finger tip location on trigger.

Bipod, Bipod mount and rear Monopod available at extra cost.

Components 100% machined from bar stock.

The HA 308 FTR is a sub MOA rifle with quality ammo and is a budget minded shooting platform capable of surpassing high priced big name rifles.

  1. Would a 30-32'' barrel option be availible for 1000yrd shoots in the future or possibbly a left hand ejection port.
