Crossroads of the West Gun Show
Our friends from Centerfire Cleaning Solutions will be at the Crossroads of the West Gun Show in Ontario, CA this weekend (May 14 -15, 2010). If you are in the area, be sure to stop by.

Attached is a letter I sent to Crossroads Gun Shows after a visit to the show in Ontario today. 5-15-10
ReplyDeleteVisited your show today & feel I would be doing you a disservice by not telling you I am offended by the blind eye turned to your vendor standards.
Your information page clearly prohibits "items glorifying Nazism, items offensive to the general public".
I consider the Nazi memorabilia, Ku Klux Klan T shirts, signage stating "No Coloreds" and monkey statuettes with labels that say "Barack & Michelle", both outrageous and a disservice to intelligent, moral & ethical gun enthusiasts everywhere. Guns don't equal hate, and this is the message you're sending to the community.
I would have taken more photos, but for whatever reason photography is banned at your shows.
Raise your standards, Crossroads and follow your own rules.
I hope you will take this in the productive spirit for which it is intended.
