Supreme Court’s District of Columbia v. Heller Decision

WASHINGTON – Wisconsin’s 1st District Congressman Paul Ryan
enthusiastically praised today’s recognition by the Supreme Court of the
individual rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment. In District of Columbia
v. Heller, the Supreme Court of the United States upheld a federal appeals
court ruling that declared the 1976 D.C. gun ban unconstitutional. In response
to today’s decision, Congressman Ryan issued the following statement:
