Dragon Day Movie

I recently came across the following preview for the Dragon Day movie.

DRAGON DAY SUMMARY:

When out-of-work techie Duke Evans and his family try to rebuild their lives in a remote mountain town, their own version of the American Dream is cut short as planes begin falling from the sky and all power, communications and transportation suddenly stops working. Caught in an unprecedented cyberattack that signifies the end of the U.S. as we know it, Duke and his family must use all their wits and the unlikely help of an illegal immigrant, to survive this frighteningly realistic scenario where water, food and time are running out.

Shooting at Gun Store

9/17/12 - Shooting at Gun Store - Don's Guns - Indianapolis

We have seen several  examples of what happens when someone opens fire in a gun free zone. The results are often the same. Victims are simply unable to do anything but run. And quite often, that isn’t enough to save them from injury or death.

But, what happens when someone opens fire in an environment that is not a gun free zone? That is exactly what happened at Don’s Guns, an Indianapolis gun store and shooting range.

Thank goodness the gun store employee was armed! If only someone would have been in the “gun-free” zones in which innocent victims have been killed.

The A-Team

Back in the 80s, there were a few shows I really looked forward to each week... Knight Rider, Buck Rogers, and OF COURSE, The A-Team. Well, I just got back from seeing the new version of The A-Team!

I thought they did a great job with it. It included all the cheesy items any A-Team remake would HAVE to have. You know.... the lines (I love it when a plan comes together), the van, the mohawk, the cigar, the unrealistic stunts.... But, despite all the A-Team goofiness, they were able to make it a bit more serious than the old show.

So, whether you were one of those who couldn't wait for the original series to come on after dinner, or you are new to the A-Team, I think it is definitely worth checking out.

Now, bring on Buck Rogers!
