Beauty Queen Shoots Intruder

Have you seen the story today about the beauty queen who shot an intruder with her "pink gun"? I'm sure the fact that she was a former beauty queen has a lot to do with why this story has been so big in the news. Hopefully we will not miss out on the lesson of this story... A criminal broke into someone's home and would have inflicted harm upon the people inside. These people are safe today because they were able to defend themselves with a handgun.

What would have happened to these people if the anti-gun crowd had their way? I guess they would have had to ask the criminal to hold off a few minutes while they dial 911 and wait for the police to arrive.
